Info:

Cuihan was born in China in 1997 and came to Canada when she was 16. After she finished her high school in BC, she gained her bachelor in chemistry and statistics in University of Toronto. At that time, she worked on the Ni-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions using the cyclopropanol as the homoenolate precursor to reverse the reactivity of beta alkyls of carbonyl groups, under the supervision of Professor Sophie Rousseaux. In fall 2019, She began her PhD in Arndtsen group, working on 1,3-dipolar cycloadditions in heterocycle synthesis. In her free time, she enjoys travelling, cooking and watching shows/movies.
