Info: Fabio was born and raised in Tuscany, Italy. He joined Prof. Bruce Arndsten’s group in November 2011 as Research Associate; he is currently focused on the synthesis of Lewis Acid-tethered imine palladium complexes as catalysts for CO/imine co-polymerization. Before joining McGill University, he worked at UBC in Vancouver B.C. as Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Prof. Brian R. James’s group (2005-2008), at the University of Nottingham U.K. as Research Fellow (Prof. M. Schroder; 2009-2011), and at QUILL, Queen’s University of Belfast U.K. as Research Fellow (Prof. K. Seddon; 2008). Fabio attained his PhD at the Queen’s University of Belfast U.K. (Dr. A. C. Marr; 2006) and his MSc at the University of Pisa, Italy (Prof. F. Marchetti, Prof. D. Belli and Prof. Fausto Calderazzo; 2002). When not in the lab, Fabio also enjoys travelling and watching loads of soccer in La Petite Italie.
